What is Drawn Arc Stud Welding?
Stud Welding is the process of fastening a weld stud (or "stud") to a base metal material. Drawn Arc Stud Welding, uses the technology of a transformer rectifier, hand-held stud gun, ceramic ferrules and appropriate settings for amperage and duration. Arc stud welding is used for larger diameter studs and thicker base metals. The arc stud welding process provides a full fusion weld in less than a second.
